In collaboration with Anne Zimmer, I create small, fine, unique pieces of jewelry. This time it was a ring. The bird was created from a seed pod of an ornamental grass. It has a bit of a resemblance to a budgerigar, doesn’t it? When I processed the pod, the seeds fell out. I glued one of them back on at the top as a little tuft. So this could also be a cockatiel. That’s the way it is in free art – there is room for interpretation 🙂
Other customizable pieces of jewelry are available on request from Anne Zimmer, Wexstraße 28 in Hamburg. Anne makes the blank and I put one or more bird creatures into it. The inlay is filled with resin in Anne Zimmer’s workshop. The result is a pretty necklace pendant. I am delighted with this wonderful and varied collaboration with Anne
